Outside This Room is a Hunter Valley–based floral studio creating bespoke designs for gatherings that matter. Rooted in a love of connection and celebration, our florals are designed to transform spaces and set the tone for meaningful experiences. Inspired by Australia’s wild beauty and outdoor culture, our style lives somewhere between the country and the sea—natural, considered, and quietly expressive.

Outside This Room was founded by Gabrielle Chevalley, a florist with over 12 years of industry experience and a background in Fine Arts. Growing up on a farm in the Hunter Valley fostered an early and lasting connection to botanicals and the natural world. Gabrielle went on to study Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts, followed by Design and Colour Theory at the International School of Colour and Design. This education has shaped a technically informed, process-driven approach that underpins her practice.

Outside This Room currently works in Film Production, Weddings, Corporate Events and End of Life celebrations across Australia and internationally. As seen on Farmer Wants A Wife, Married at First Sight and The Golden Bachelor, as well as featured in Graziher, Hello May and The Anti Bride.
